THE PROPERTY Our two-acre property is nestled on a peninsula of land, offering panoramic views of the Topa Topa mountains and breathtaking sunsets. Take a leisurely stroll through the expansive grounds, complete with majestic oak trees and a charming tree swing. Our orchard boasts a variety of delicious fruits including oranges, Ojai Pixie tangerines, grapefruit, apricots, and plums that you are welcome to savor when they're in season. THE PATIO Step outside your door and into your own private paradise at The Meiners Daughter. Situated on a peninsula of land with great views of the Topa Topa mountains and stunning sunsets, our two-acre property features plenty of area for exploring, dozens of majestic oak trees, and a great tree swing. Our shaded patio area is the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine by the gas fire pit, read a book at the cafe table, or take a nap in the comfortable hammock. For those who love to grill, we also offer a gas BBQ to cook up a delicious meal at the end of the day. It's the perfect way to enjoy the natural wonders of Ojai! " THE LIVING ROOM Our combined living and dining area is a peaceful oasis that opens to a private patio via a sliding door. With an ultra-comfortable sofa by Article Furniture and a 4-top dining table with Bertoia chairs, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. LED lights provide a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, while ceiling fans and a mini-split AC/heat unit maintain comfortable temperatures throughout the year. For your entertainment, a 55" 4K TV with all major streaming channels is mounted on the wall Timothy Hogan, the host, has personally added a unique touch to the space, incorporating handmade elements such as a live-edge coffee table and a photographic print from his series, TheFInProject.. THE KITCHEN To the left of the combo living and dining area, you'll find a well-stocked kitchenette complete with a fridge, freezer, cooktop, oven, pots and pans, oil, spices, and utensils. Start your day off right with our coffee bar, which includes fresh coffee, tea, sugars, and creamer. We highly recommend taking your morning coffee out on the private patio, where you can soak in the sounds of the birds and the rising sun. THE BEDROOM Relax and rejuvenate in our cozy bedroom located at the back of the space, where you'll be treated to a delightfully comfortable Tuft and Needle mattress and organic linen sheets that our guests can't stop talking about in our reviews! Stay cool with the silent ceiling fan, and adjust the lighting with the dimmable LED lights and blackout shades for a peaceful night's rest. A pair of handmade side tables designed by Timothy Hogan with reading lamps, along with two petite dressers and a hanging closet, provide everything you need to feel right at home. THE BATHROOM Indulge in the luxury of our bathroom, featuring a custom-tiled walk-in shower, handmade countertop, and floating sink. Our organic cotton towels and premium toiletries are a treat for your skin, while the hair dryer is at your disposal. The bathroom is also wheelchair accessible, making it easy for all guests to enjoy. PARKING We provide ample parking options for our guests. There are two spaces available, including one covered space under our carport, conveniently located right next to your private entrance. Electric vehicle owners can make use of our Level2 EV charger which works with all major brands (including Tesla, just bring your adapter), which is fully powered by our solar panels.
